Movies, music...it's all the same. VERY rarely is there one take with anything and there is always post production done. Sometimes people don't get the amount of work and effort it takes to get what THEY want to hear or see. And what they want is production. I think it's important for people to not only understand the photographer's intentions and the time that is involved, but ultimately the end result, which usually cannot be achieved without editing.
